We are required by law to collect a 8.6% Washington State sales
tax on orders delivered within Washington state only. Sales tax must
also be charge on shipping and handling charges. OUT OF STATE SALES ARE
NOT SUBJECT TO WASHINGTON STATE SALES TAX.
What About Out Of Stock
Product?
We ship about 95% of our orders complete
within 48 hours. There are times when we may run out of stock on some
items. We know that when you order you really want everything that you
ordered and we strive to ship all orders 100%.
What are the
methods of paying?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, and Wire
Transfer for which there is a $20.00 bank charge. We do not do C.O.D.'s.
Please be sure to provide your exact
billing address and telephone number-the address and phone number your
credit card company has on file for you. Incorrect information may cause
a delay in processing your order.
You can
be confident that your personal and account information is secure at Shoff
Tackle. We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all parts of
our site that require any personal information.
When
will I be billed?
Your credit card will be charge when we ship the order. If a item you
ordered is out of stock and is on back-order, we will charge your credit
card when that item ships.
Can I Order By Phone?
Yes, you can, however for better service, and accuracies in ordering it is
best to order over the internet or by fax. If you prefer not to order over
the internet that is fine go ahead, and call your order in. If you do order
by phone e-mail us your complete name and address as well as your e-mail
address. This way we can e-mail you the tracking number when we ship.
Do you have a minimum order?
No, we have no minimum order, however on orders of $20.00 and less there is
a $5.00 service charge.
Do You Have A Catalog?
NO, we are out of the 2004 catalog's. We will probably not print anymore
catalogs. After 30 years of putting a catalog together I am just wore
out. The last catalog was loaded with mistakes, and it's just time to
call it quits.
What is the delivery time
for orders?
Most of our orders are shipped by UPS or Postal Service. Regular ground
shipments usually take between 1 to 5 business days depending on your
location.
Returns & Exchanges?
If you are not satisfied for any reason you may return unused items in
the original box with all accessories within 15 days for an exchange or
refund to the credit card account charged. In order to receive a refund,
all merchandise must in the original packaging as received with all
headers, labels, instructions, etc. Defective merchandise shall be
returned directly to the manufacturer under their return policy; we can
help you with that. All returns must be insured and postage prepaid.
Please, clearly print/type your name and address on the outside of the
package. Merchandise must include a copy of our invoice or packing slip.
Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable. No refunds on closeout
or special order items.
Do you have a retail store?
No, we have no store front. In order to provide you with the fastest
service and best prices, we have chosen to concentrate strictly on
internet and mail order sales. Given our quick turn around time we
can have your order to you in no time at all. To serve all of our
customers promptly and efficiently, we cannot accept any customer
pick-ups or will calls.
Why isn't any items shown in my
shopping basket?
If you have placed items in your shopping cart, and nothing shows in the
basket, it may be because your browser is not set to accept cookies. To
fix this, just check your browser setting and enable your cookies. For
Internet Explorer this should be in the Tools Menu, under Internet
Options. For Netscape this should be in the edit menu under preferences.

Check your setup you may have it set to block cookies. If so you will
need to turn it to accept cookies to order. If you're on a network you
may have the software set to block cookies. If so you'll need to set it
to accept cookies in order to order.
Why do I need cookies?
Our site is designed to use cookies to keep track of the items you order
during your shopping session. When you’re ready to check out, all of the
items are saved in your shopping cart by using cookies. If you don’t
enable cookies in your browser, our site won’t remember what you’ve
ordered, so your shopping basket will appear to be empty. For Internet
Explorer this should be in the Tools Menu, under Internet Options. For
Netscape this should be in the edit menu under preferences.
What About International Orders?
We ship to most countries. The lowest cost method is by postal service.
Some length limits can apply. The length limits vary from country to
country. We can quote you shipping charges before filling the order. We
can also ship by UPS, however the charges are usually much higher than
the postal service. Customs duty and taxes are the responsibility of the
customer.
Will you
falsify the invoice or shipping documents?
NO, don't even ask us to
falsify invoices or shipping documents. It is not worth the savings to
you.
When can I expect
my International order?
From the date we ship it can take from 2 to 6 weeks. The order
usually arrives in country within 5 days. The package goes from the
control of the postal authorities to Customs. It must be process by
Customs, and then it goes back to the postal authorities for
delivery. The time spend in Customs is what usually causes time
delays. Once we ship the order we can not tell you where it is or
when you'll receive it. You do need to have patience. If you think
you should have received it, contact your local post office, and or
Customs office. WE CAN'T TELL YOU WHERE IT'S AT. YOU CAN HAVE ORDERS
SHIPPED BY GLOBAL EXPRESS WHICH DOES GIVE YOU TRACKING ABILITIES.
HOWEVER, THIS METHOD IS VERY EXPENSIVE.
